Suatu pagi di hari raya... Luqman and Hana having milk before going to the HUB for Eid prayers..

So what went according to plan?
Almost nothing!! Haha, first, Hamzah woke up deciding that he was sick. So, plan B was activated. I stay home and Pah go to solat raya with the kids.
I was sending them to the HUB since it's Homecoming and parking mught be bad. It wasn't just the parking, it was the blocked roads due to the parade!! At 9:00, we were looking at a road barrier in the middle of the road, 2 blocks away from the HUB where ICI had booked three rooms for the event. So, I told them to alight and go to HUB via the walkways. Went back home and took care of Hamzah. Gave him breakfast and sent him back to bed after his medication. I washed the dishes waiting for 11:00. Amin called and asked if AAt had taken care of his zakat. I said most probably but that I would call. Got the pC on but somehow it blinked. But I saw Aa't on my iBook's adium and so chatted with until Pah called. She said that they were coming back with Mai and hubby. OK by me. Got the PC restarted, and again, and again. It just won't keep up..
So there I was on the land line phone talking to ayah when they got back. Wished ayah raya wishes, and asked for his forgiveness. Then I gave him our new address and phone number. He asked why we moved. I told him that we'd bought the new place. That was the first real chance I could tell him abt the house. It's flimsy, I know. But I told him that I would send pictures, and in fact, he could ask poji or aaa to surf my blog if they have their pc with them tomorrow.
Then Mak came in. We talked a bit on the day's raya. Kak Emah's and Abang Usops entaurages visited them that day. It rained, maybe that was why the others, kid esp, didn't come in droves as they'd usually do. She said that her food's gone and needed to replenish the lauk for the lemangs for 2nd day's guests. Adah was unavailable, cooking downstairs. I'll call again the next day when Aa'a and Dir arrive.
But the knockout punch was what Pah told me from what she gathered during the HUB's two hour gathering. Hah, half of the Indiana muslims had their raya yesterday (Friday). Including the Imam... how come we didn't know about it? Crazy... a small place with hardly 200 muslims and we can have two raya. Compare this to KC where they had to have two shifts of solat at the Convention Center to accomodate overflowing guests! I am not happy about this development at all. Now I don't know why or what I am celebrating...
