Taiping.finally

Fuelled at the Petronas station before the bridge, then off to buy some kepok lekor at seberang takir. Left KT, after the Keropok Lekor purchase by Abg Azhari, at abt 10.30. He gave the whole RM10.00 bag to me to take to Taiping where Amin was waiting. Kelantan first, to pass through Bukit Bunga, Tanah merah, etc..And then the trip UP the hills, reaching tasik Banding. Stopped a while to see what they have and drove away disappointed. They'd destroyed the place, it seems.. The hills were also partly scorched at places. Not sure if they were the work of humans or nature. Reached Gerik and wondered if I needed to refuel. But no..maybe not. At Lenggong, my camera ran out of juice, and by five, the tank was reading Empty. Ah well, time to stop. REfuelled at pdg rengas..and decided to take the hiway, so doubled back to Kuala kangsar. The plus Hiway was quick but costly at rm5.10. Taiping Utara to home was only 15 minutes, reaching 784 at about 5:45. Mak and Ayah asked me to come throughthe front door. Mak wept, saying that she thought I'd never return. Ayah was cool enough, but one thing is for sure; I am back home, FINALLY.
